Assignment for Weekend of April 28, 2016
1. Read one of the articles below. Prepare 5-7 thought provoking questions that would guide a Socratic Seminar. Turn those into the professor and be prepared to discuss with other participants.
2. Take your current students through a Socratic Seminar. Prepare a one page analysis of what you did, how the students
responded to the instructional strategy. How could you utilize a seminar or literature circle in future lessons.

2. Read two of the articles below. Write a one page analysis comparing and contrasting the concepts presented in the articles. What connections can you make between the articles? How would/will you implement the concepts in your classroom? Share any other personal connections in your analysis. 3. Read the Gladwell article titled "Most Likely to Succeed." Be prepared to participate in a seminar on the reading. Please write three to four thought provoking questions about the article.
